Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
1. Entry to the Halifax Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 18 or over who are in full time higher education (a degree course or similar course of further education at 1/10/07). Employees of HBOS plc, its subsidiaries, and other group companies and their immediate families or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
2. The draw is open to you if you enter using the online entry form (http://uk.biz.yahoo.com/student/competition.html) or return the branch entry form to a participating branch.
3. The closing date for entries is 12/10/07.
4. Only one entry per person.
5. The draw will take place under independent supervision on 26/10/07 and the first name drawn will be the winner.
6. The first prize is a cheque for the value of £10,000 and 10 other people can win one Dell laptop each. Winners will only receive their prizes on receipt of documentation from your University confirming attendance there.
7. Our decision is final in all matters relating to the draw and we will not enter into any correspondence with you about it.
8. We will notify the winners by post or e-mail within 2 weeks of the draw taking place. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing we can disclose your details should you win.
9. You must accept the prize as offered. You can obtain the result of the draw by sending a stamped addressed envelope to us at Halifax plc, Banking Products, Ref JF, 3rd Floor Trinity Road, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX1 2RG after 31/10/07.
10. We may require you to take part in further publicity resulting from our draw if you win a prize.
