Streaming Share Prices - FAQ's

| What are streaming quotes? |
Instead of having to click the refresh button to see a share price change the prices will automatically change on the screen. If the share price is rising you’ll a green flash  and if it’s falling a red flash  . In addition the volume, bid and ask will also change but without the flashing.

| Why can’t I see streaming quotes all the time? |
|
Streaming quotes only work when the stock exchanges are open, so for the UK between 8.30 and 4.30.

| Are the streaming prices delayed? |
|
Yes the quotes are delayed by between 15 and 20 minutes depending on the market you’re looking at.

| Why can I only see 3.14 and 2.82 streaming when the share I’m looking at has a completely different price? |
We provide two versions of the streaming quotes. One where the background changes colour when the price goes up and down. Red for down and green for up. The second version has no change in background colour, so just the share price and day change figures move.
Clicking on the 3.14 or 2.82 will change the version.

| Is it just the share price pages that are streaming? |

No, in addition to the share price pages. The portfolio pages (once logged in), currency converter and most actives are streaming too.

|
Yes, quotes for UK, Europe and US are now streaming.

| How do I turn the streaming quotes off? |
Simply click on the  button between the share price and the company name and select Turn OFF In the drop down.

| How do I turn streaming quotes on? |
The streaming quotes will automatically default to on but if you’ve turned them off simply click the  and then select either of the flashing or
