Paying for your home in stages |

Some builders will request payment at various stages of property
construction. |

– |

A contract
exists for the construction of the property. |
|
All legal
and other requirements having been complied with in full. |
|
A
certificate of compliance with Planning Permission and the Building
Regulations be produced at each stage. This compliance is only acceptable
if provided by one of the following professionals;
Chartered
or Structural engineers;
Person with
a degree qualification in Architecture who is an RIAI/RIBA
member;
A person
who is in practise as an Architect on their own account or as an Engineer
in the Construction industry for 10 years or more, but not holding a
degree qualification;
A Qualified
Building Surveyor who is a member of RICS. |

The person
providing this certificate of compliance must have Professional Indemnity
insurance equivalent to at least double the loan amount on an each and
every claim basis. |
