FIRST-TIME BUYERS

Key Worker Homes

What is a key worker?

The Government defines key workers as workers who are needed to provide frontline services in public areas, in parts of the country where housing and the cost of living is high. These areas have been identified as London, the South East and the East of England.

You may be a key worker if:

  • You are employed in the public sector.

  • You work in a frontline role delivering an essential public service.

  • You work in a sector where there are serious recruitment and retention problems.
