LVMH, the world's biggest luxury group, posted a 12 percent drop in first-half operating earnings, dragged down by its wines, spirits, watches and jewellery businesses.
Profit from recurring operations dropped to 1.36 billion euros from 1.54 billion a year earlier, LVMH said in a statement on Monday. Nine analysts polled by Reuters on average estimated the result would be 1.34 billion.
