BA slumps to operating loss, sees outlook uncertain
LONDON (AFP) - British Airways (LSE: BAY.L - news) said on Friday it posted a first quarter operating loss of 94 million pounds, reversing a year-earlier profit of 35 million pounds.
It said business conditions continued to be very difficult and there was considerable uncertainty over the outlook for the airline industry as a whole.
