NYSE Euronext, parent of the New York Stock Exchange, said
on Friday trading on the NYSE and in the NYSE Amex cash equities experienced
'an inordinate influx' of orders that caused delays in quote dissemination and
resulted in several locked quote conditions.
The issue has been resolved, the NYSE said in a status notification.
