UPDATE 1-Lonrho gets air services licence in Angola
* Says to deploy four ATR72 aircrafts in Angola
* To fly in 10 countries by 2010
April 29 (Reuters) - Lonrho Plc (LSE: LONR.L - news) , a UK-based conglomerate with business interests in Africa, said it received an air services licence in Angola for the regional African airline Fly540.
Lonrho will initially deploy two new ATR72 aircraft to establish the primary routes, and would deploy another two aircraft in the second half of the year as more traffic volume is expected, it said in a statement.
The ATR72 is a new generation turbo prop aircraft built by a unit of Airbus (Paris: NL0000235190 - news) in Toulouse, France.
Fly540 plans to fly in 15 countries by the end of 2010, it said.
Lonrho's shares closed at 7.45 pence on Tuesday on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: LSE.L - news) .
