BRIEF-Pentagon dismisses any suggestion of Northrop tanker contest boycott
WASHINGTON, Oct 28 (Reuters) - Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell to reporters:
* Says Pentagon dismisses any suggestion Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC - news) might boycott multi-billion-dollar competition against Boeing (NYSE: BA - news) for tanker aircraft.
* Says Pentagon leaves open the possibility it will again seek to scrap alternate F-35 engine in fiscal 2011.
