PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Vinci SA (Paris: FR0000125486 - news) said it has signed a 35-year deal with the town of Le Mans in France
for the design, financing, construction, running and maintenance of a new 25,000 seat stadium.

The deal represents a total investment of 100 million euros and has been signed through Vinci Concessions subsidiary Le Mans Stadium.

Press reports at the end of last year said the company was the only candidate for the deal after Bouygues (Paris: FR0000120503 - news) pulled out. Les Echos reported at the time that Vinci would invest 21 million euros in the project with the rest of the funding coming from public sources.

Vinci did not give further details of funding in its statement.
