BRIEF-OPD receives 57 pence a share cash offer
LONDON, May 27 (Reuters) - OPD Group Plc (LSE: OPD.L - news) :
* Offerco to buy shares it does not own in OPD Group for 57 pence in cash per
OPD share
* Offer values the issued ordinary share capital of OPD at approximately 15.1
million pounds in aggregate
* Offer represents premium of about 44 percent to closing price of 39.5 pence
per OPD share on May 14 2009, the day before offer talks were announced
