IdaTech agrees three-year supply deal with Ballard Power Systems
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - IdaTech PLC (LSE: IDA.L - news) , the US-based advanced fuel cell solutions company, said it has signed a
three-year supply agreement with Ballard Power Systems Inc for the supply of fuel cell stack modules to be incorporated in IdaTech's next generation integrated sub-kilowatt fuel cell system known as iGen.
The company said the incorporation will allow IdaTech to improve its profit margin on the next generation of these products, and added that it continues to seek the best technology for its products in order to bring greater value to its customers and shareholders.
The Ballard Mark1020ASC fuel cell product was selected as it meets all of IdaTech's technical requirements and is the best fit in terms of price, overall performance and reliability, the company said.
