Finmeccanica signs air trainer cooperation deal with Chile's ENAER
MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Finmeccanica SpA (Milan: FNC.MI - news) said its military air trainer unit Alenia Aermacchi has signed a cooperation deal with Chile's Empresa Nacional de Aeronautica de Chile.
The cooperation is for the advanced new generation trainer, the M-346, and the basic-advanced trainer moded, the M-311.
The deal foresees joint production of the two aircraft in Latin America to efficiently meet demand from air forces in the region, it said.
