0930 ET 25Sept2009-Markets open lower after durable goods data ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
U.S. markets opened lower on Friday, pressured after data showed new orders for durable goods unexpectedly fell in August.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell 0.1 percent to 9,688.36 while the S&P 500 lost 0.2 percent to 1,048.47 and the Nasdaq (NASDAQ: news) was off 0.6 percent to 2,096.23.
