BRIEF-PowerFilm sees H1 loss
LONDON, June 25 (Reuters) - British solar power company PowerFilm Inc (LSE: PFLM.L - news) :
* In the past few months the
company has experienced a slowdown in orders
* The directors expect revenues for the first half of 2009 to be around $3.0M
(same period 2008: $3.9M)
* The company expects to incur a loss for the period (same period 2008: $0.1M
profit).
* The company has made a layoff of 15 employees to reduce headcount by 16%
* Is well poised to prosper when economic growth returns.
