BoE extends swap facility with Fed,to end 28-day dlr repo

LONDON, June 25 (Reuters) - The Bank of England said on Thursday it is extending its swap facility with the U.S. Federal Reserve until Feb. 1, 2010, in line with other central banks.

The BoE also said it will continue conducting
7- and 84- days dollar repo operations during the third quarter of 2009, but that it would discontinue 28-day dollar repos at the end of July.

'The Bank will continue to keep its U.S. dollar repo operations under review in the light of market conditions,' the central bank said in a statement.

It said it would hold term dollar repo operations on the following dates:

June 30: 25-day repo

July 14: 84-day repo

July 28: 28-day repo

Aug 11: 84-day repo
