Singapore Hot Stocks-Sembcorp Ind in focus on Oman project
SINGAPORE, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Sembcorp Industries
will be in focus on Monday after it signed a $1 billion power and
water project deal with Oman.
U.S. stocks slid on Friday for a third straight day as
investors took weaker-than-expected results from computer-maker
Dell (NASDAQ: DELL - news) and homebuilder D.R. Horton as a further
sign that the recovery will be sluggish.

Stocks and factors to watch:
-- Sembcorp Industries
- Singapore's Sembcorp Industries has signed a joint venture
deal with Oman Investment Corp to build a water and power project
worth $1 billion.
-- KEPPEL CORP (K02.SI - news)
- Keppel Corp will upgrade and repair two Noble Corp (NYSE: NE - news) 's
drillships for $304 million in Brazil, according to a Keppel
announcement early on Monday.
-- FIRST SHIP LEASE
- Ship financing firm First Ship Lease said it plans to issue
up to $200 million worth of bonds, which will mature in 2016.
- Singapore's benchmark Straits Times Index rose 0.1
percent to 2,761.54 points on Friday.
- The Dow Jones industrial average fell 0.14 percent
to 10,318.16 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index dropped
0.5 percent to 2,146.04 points.
