Bank's Sentance says inflation must not lead to wage hikes

LONDON (Reuters (LSE: TRIL.L - news) ) - Britain must ensure that a "temporary" episode of rising inflation does not feed through to wage price hikes, Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee member Andrew Sentance said on Monday.

Writing in the Daily Mail (LSE: DMGT.L - news) , Sentance said it was vital that Britain did not allow the "rise in inflation injected by rising oil and commodity prices" to become broad-based.
