CORRECTED-Italy's Pop Milano wraps up Anima buyout
MILAN, Jan 23 (Reuters) - Italy's Banca Popolare di Milano (Milan: PMI.MI - news) concluded its buyout of asset manager Anima SGR (Milan: ANM.MI - news) on Friday, holding about 94 percent of shares, the cooperative bank said.
Pop Milano, which owned 29.9 percent of Anima before the offer, said stockholders had sold 91.52 percent of shares affected by the offer.
Pop Milan had offered 1.45 euros per share, valuing Anima at about 107 million euros ($138.6 million).
Anima shares ended down 0.21 percent at 1.422 euros.
Pop Milano has said it will delist Anima when the buyout is completed and merge it with the bank's Bipiemme Gestioni unit as part of a reorganization of its asset management activities.
