FRANKFURT (AFP) - German industrial group Siemens (Xetra: 723610 - news) said on Monday that it expects around 15 billion euros (21 billion dollars) in orders worldwide between 2010-2012 thanks to government economic stimulus plans.

Roughly 40 percent of that figure would concern environmental or "green" technologies, a statement said.

Such activities, which range from the production of low-consumption light bulbs to wind turbines, accounted for about 19 billion euros in Siemens' 2007/2008 fiscal year.

In 2011, orders of environment-related products are forecast to climb to 25 billion euros, Siemens said.
