PREVIEW-Danish jobless seen up, but consumers less gloomy
COPENHAGEN, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Denmark's seasonally-adjusted
unemployment rate was seen rising to 4.0 percent of the
workforce in July from 3.8 percent in June, the median estimate
in a Reuters survey of eight economists showed on Friday.
Despite the expected rise in joblessness, consumer
confidence was seen improving in August to negative 2.0 points
from negative 3.2 points in July.
The national statistics office will publish the consumer
confidence indicator on Monday, Aug. 24 and the jobless data on
Thursday, Aug. 27, both releases at 0730 GMT.
