NEW YORK, December 20 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Wedbush Morgan initiate coverage of MICROS Systems Inc (ticker: MCRS) with a "hold" rating. The 12-month target price is set to $74.

In a research note published this morning, the analysts
mention that the market share of the company's integrated hardware/software offering is expanding versus traditional point-of-sale solutions. MICROS Systems (NASDAQ: MCRS - news) is better positioned than most technology companies to handle business cyclicality going forward, the analysts believe. The company's growth is likely to moderate going forward, since incremental growth related to distributors has largely been exhausted, Wedbush Morgan says.
