Italy to offer BTPs, CTZs, cancel some auctions
ROME, Nov 20 (Reuters) - The Italian Treasury said on Friday it will offer fixed-rate bonds (BTPs) and 2.5 billion euros of new zero coupon bonds (CTZs) at its regular end-month auctions.
The Treasury said in a statement it would offer:
* 5th tranche BTPs maturing on March 1, 2020 with a coupon of 4.25 percent. The auction will take place on Nov. 27
* 5th trance CTZs maturing September 30, 2011. The auction will take place on Nov. 25.
In addition, the Treasury said:
* It was cancelling an auction of euro zone CPI (NYSE: CPY - news) -linked bonds (BTPEIs) scheduled for Nov. 26
* It had cancelled an auction of 3-year BTPs and CCTs scheduled for Nov 27, though a 10-year BTP (Paris: FR0000033607 - news) auction on that day will go ahead
* Mid-December bond auctions will be cancelled except for a 12-month BOT auction on Dec. 10
* All other scheduled auctions will go ahead. Keywords: ITALY BONDS/
