The FTSE Small Cap index falls 1.9 percent as the UK market ends a
disappointing week with the FTSE 100 down 3.2 percent and the FTSE mid
caps down 3.4 percent.
Centaur Media Plc (LSE: CAU.L - news) is down 29 percent after hitting a record low as
the business publisher says it expects full-year results to be significantly
below forecasts as advertising revenue slows.
Ceramic Fuel Cells (LSE: CFU.L - news) leap 44.8 percent as the company's London listing
responds to the strong performance of its Australia-listed shares, traders says,
where the stock closed up 3.1 pence (A$0.069) at 5.9 pence on the back of
Thursday's news that the Melbourne-based clean energy company, achieved 60
percent electrical efficiency at one of its natural gas-powered fuel-cell home
appliances.
