Italian Stocks - Factors to watch on Sept 18

MILAN, Sept 18 (Reuters) - The following factors could affect Italian markets on Thursday.

MEDIOBANCA (Milan: MB.MI - news)

Mediobanca is expected to decide to return to a single board

system on Thursday and it will also report full-year results.

ALITALIA (Milan: AZA.MI - news)

An investor group offering to rescue the state-controlled

airline from bankruptcy has threatened to withdraw on Thursday

if its proposal does not get union approval, a union source

said.

The Carlyle Group has offered to take part in a

capital hike by the property company and take a stake in it, a

source close to the issue said.

AUTOGRILL (Milan: AGL.MI - news)

The caterer said in a statement on Wednesday it had approved

a reorganisation plan to merge Autogrill International in

Autogrill, in a move to simplify its ownership structure.

IRIDE (Milan: IRD.MI - news) , HERA (Milan: HER.MI - news) , ENIA (Milan: EN.MI - news)

A six-hour meeting between managers of the three utilities

regarding a merger ended without problems delaying the plans

being resolved, a source close to the dossier said. The mayors

of Turin and Genoa are to meet on the matter.
