India's SAIL FY net profit rises to 75.68 bln rupees from 62.15 bln
MUMBAI (Thomson Financial) - Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAUD.IL - news) . said its net profit for the year to March rose to 75.68 billion rupees from 62.15 billion a year earlier.
The company said total income increased to 415.71 billion rupees from 353.23 billion rupees.
At 2:25 p.m. local time, SAIL shares were 1.96 percent higher at 176.60 rupees on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the benchmark Sensex was up 0.27 percent at 17,400.57 points.
