Unicredit sells Fimit fund manager stake to Lehman, managers for 55 mln euros

MILAN (Thomson Financial) - Unicredit SpA (Milan: UCG.MI - news) said it has sold its 51.55 percent stake in the FIMIT SGR fund manager
company to IFIM, which includes FIMIT managers, Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners, and other investors.

Unicredit acquired the FIMIT stake via last year's acquisition of Italian bank Capitalia (Milan: CAP.MI - news) , and reports earlier this year said FIMIT would be sold.

In a separate statement, FIMIT said Unicredit will no longer be a shareholder in FIMIT after its sale, which includes to three new shareholders, Lehman, IFIM and pension fund INARCASSA.
