UK smallcap opening - Freshwater UK rises after 50 percent increase in H1 profit
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Shares in Freshwater UK (LSE: FWUK.L - news) rose 3 pence to 73 after the PR and marketing services group turned in a 50 percent increase in first-half pretax profits and expressed optimism about future prospects.
Meanwhile share buying by the chief financial officer lifted Hellenic Carriers 9 to 230.
