Next says chairman John Barton also appointed chairman of Brit Insurance
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - The high street and catalogue fashion retailer Next Plc (LSE: NXT.L - news) . said its chairman John Barton has also been appointed chairman of Brit Insurance Holdings Plc.
On May 8, the company reported a grim first quarter performance as expected, with sales down at both its high street stores and its catalogue business, but it said sales have picked up in the second quarter.
