Dutch April CPI up 2.0 percent vs 2.2 percent March
AMSTERDAM (Thomson Financial) - Dutch inflation rose to 2.0 pct in April compared with last year, following a 2.2 percent rise in March, the Dutch Central Bureau for Statistics (CBS (NYSE: RBV
- news) ) said.
The inflation slowdown was mainly affected by price developments for benzine, flowers and plants, the CBS said
The CBS added that inflation in the Eurozone was twice as high as the Dutch inflation. In the Netherlands, the prices for food, house rentals and energy did not rise so strongly as in the Eurozone, the CBS said.
