Property Mart ceases trading, convenes shareholder meeting to liquidate

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Property Mart Overseas Plc. said it has ceased trading and that it has convened a meeting of shareholders and creditors to be held on June 12 to place the company into liquidation.

On Feb 7, the PLUS-listed company said trading over the last few months had been substantially below expectations as sales were hampered due to ongoing re-engineering work to its website and said it was likely to seek additional funds in the short term.
