Nichols says trading in first 17 weeks of 2008 in line, names Taylor Purkis FD
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Nichols Plc (LSE: NICL.L - news) . said trading during the first 17 weeks in 2008 has been in line with
its budget expectations and slightly ahead of the same period last year.
The soft drinks producer, which makes the Vimto brand, also said it is on track to make further progress in the full year.
Nichols said it has appointed Taylor Purkis as group finance director, following changes made to the board last year. Purkis, who is expected to join the group from mid-July, is currently finance director of the European operations of Energizer Inc.
