Martin Currie Global Alpha - manager change

Alison Hamilton has left Martin Currie to focus on motherhood. The management of the Global and Global Alpha Funds has been passed to James Fairweather who will be assisted by David Sheasby.

Investment Officer and heads their global equities team. This fund draws upon the research of 16 sector managers and 17 regional analysts employed at the firm. Mr Fairweather is familiar with the fund, he has been managing it for nine months whilst Alison Hamilton has been on maternity leave. Ms Hamilton will be employed by the firm until September 2008 and will assist with handing over the management of the fund.

We have no concerns following this change and believe investors will continue to be well served. The Martin Currie Global Alpha Fund is one of our preferred global funds and will remain part of the Wealth 150, a list of our favourite funds in each sector.
