LONDON (Thomson Financial) - MicroEmissive Displays Group Plc. said it now expects to achieve month-on-month profitability during the next financial year due to a general slow down in the demand for consumer electronics world wide and a slower-than-expected
development of the market for consumer head mounted displays.

The AIM-listed designer and manufacturer of low power microdisplays said, from a manufacturing perspective, its Dresden plant continues to perform well with manufacturing yields in line with its expectations.

MicroEmissive said its director of sales and marketing, Paul van Eynde, left the organization on May 12.

Its Chief Executive Bill Miller will take responsibility for the sales and marketing function and Chief Financial Officer Graeme Walker will take responsibility for operations while a permanent replacement is sought.
