The U.S. Senate may vote on a proposal to bail out the U.S. auto industry on Thursday, but some say its prospects look grim. The bill previously passed in the House of Representatives.
Shares of General Motors (NYSE: GM - news) , a Dow component, slid 0.9 percent to $4.56 before the bell on Thursday while shares of Ford Motor slid 3.7 percent to $3.13.
