Teleperformance confident after FY profit rise
PARIS, March 11 (Reuters) - French call centre operator Teleperformance (Paris: FR0000051807 - news) said it was 'reasonably confident' that it would be able to face up to a difficult economic climate, as it posted a rise in full-year net profit and sales.
Net profit rose 18.9 percent to 116.4 million euros ($147.7 million), with operating profit up 12 percent at 177.9 million euros. Sales rose 12 percent to 1.785 billion euros.
The group said in a statement on Wednesday it would propose the payment of a 0.44 euro per share dividend at its annual shareholders' meeting in May.
The group said that it would hone its objectives, announced in November, as it did every year, based on first quarter performance and market trends, at its next investors' meeting on May 26.
