Santander names former IMF MD Rato to its international advisory board

MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Banco Santander SA said it has named former IMF managing director Rodrigo Rato as a member of the bank's international advisory board.

In a statement, Santander (Madrid: SAN.MC - news) noted that the advisory board helps with the bank's design, development and global strategy.
