Nissan Motor enters South American supply agreement with Chrysler
NEW YORK (Thomson Financial) - Nissan Motor Co (NJQ.IL - news) . Friday agreed to supply Chrysler LLC with a car for limited distribution
in South America.
The car will be supplied to Chrysler on an original equipment manufacture (OEM (LSE: OEM.L - news) ) basis beginning in 2009.
Jatco, an affiliate of Nissan, has an OEM agreement to supply Chrysler with transmissions since 2004.
The U.S.-listed shares of Nissan closed Thursday at $20.15.
