Canada Nov trade surplus expands to 3.7 bln cad vs revised 3.1 bln in Oct

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Canada's trade surplus expanded to 3.7 bln cad, up from a revised 3.1 bln cad in October, according to Statistics Canada.

Canadian companies exported 37.9 bln cad worth of merchandise, a 3.1 pct increase, while imports rose 1.7 pct to 34.2 bln cad. The gain in imports partially reversed a decline in October.
