Cambrian Mining says Merim offers 70p/shr to buy 4.9 pct stake in co

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Cambrian Mining PLC said Merim Pty Ltd has made an 'opportunistic' offer to buy up to 3 mln Cambrian shares at 70 pence per share adding Merim will acquire no more than 4.9 pct of Cambrian's shares.

The company said its share suspension will be lifted by the end of January and the price at which its shares were suspended on Dec 12 was 76 pence per share.
