Arch Chemicals downgraded to "hold" - update
NEW YORK, October 10 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Wedbush Morgan downgrade Arch Chemicals Inc (NYSE: ARJ - news) (ticker: ARJ) from "strong buy"
to "hold," while revising their estimates for the company. The 12-month target price has been raised from $46 to $48.
In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the margins at the company's HTH Water segment are expected to be negatively impacted by unfavourable weather in 3Q and 2007. The risk/reward profile of Arch Chemicals' stock is neutral, following the robust appreciation of 27% in the company's share price since August 1, the analysts say. The EPS estimate for 2007 has been reduced from $2.34 to $2.26 and the EPS estimate for 2008 has been raised from $2.51 to $2.68.
