Groupe Partouche Q2 sales 113.7 mln euros vs 118.7 mln euros; down 4.2 pct
PARIS (Thomson Financial) - Groupe Partouche (Paris: FR0000053548 - news) said second quarter sales fell 4.2 percent to 113.7 million
euros compared with 118.7 million euros in the same period a year earlier.
Overall sales for the first half edged up 0.5 percent to 249.9 million euros compared with 248.6 million euros.
The group said casinos accounted for 228.9 million euros of the total of 249.9 million euros to end April, while hotels contributed 15 million euros and other activities 6 million euros.
The group said the Jan. 1 smoking ban hit its activities as well as a slowdown in consumption.
