GIMV and Halder fund sell five minority stakes to private equity fund BECAP

BRUSSELS (Thomson Financial) - Belgian venture capital group GIMV (Brussels: GIMB.BR - news) said it and the Halder IV fund -- owned through GIMV's Dutch subsidiary Halder -- have sold five minority shareholdings to private equity fund BECAP.

The sale includes GIMV's 10 percent stake in PVC window frame manufacturer Gaelan and its 32 percent in Wichard, which manufactures and distributes hardware for sailing boats and for the medical, automotive and aeronautic industries.

Halder IV divested its stakes in Bopack, Les Margerides Group, and GHE. The fund is now fully divested, enabling management to focus on its more recent investments, GIMV said.

The sale of the shareholdings will have a slight negative impact of 800,000

euros (0.04 euro per share) on GIMV's last published equity value.

No further financial details were disclosed.
