BPM's offer for Anima to run Dec. 15 to Jan. 23
MILAN, Dec 9 (Reuters) - Banca Popolare di Milano (Milan: PMI.MI - news) 's (BPM) buyout offer for all of Italian asset management
company Anima SGR (Milan: ANM.MI - news) will run from Dec. 15 to Jan. 23, the Milan bank said on Tuesday.
Stock market regulator Consob has approved the prospectus for BPM's offer of 1.45 euros for each Anima share, first announced by BPM in September, the bank said.
The offer is subject to BPM gaining at least a two-thirds stake in Anima, it said.
BPM already owns 29.9 percent of Anima and intends to delist the company once it has completed the bid, which values the whole of Anima at 107 million euros ($138 million).
Anima closed down 0.85 percent at 1.396 euros.
