LONDON (ShareCast) - Business processing outsourcing company Xchanging (LSE: XCH.L - news) has created a new position of Head of the
Asia Pacific and put former Hewlett Packard (NYSE:
HPQ -
news) man Kerry Purcell in the role.
Fluent Japanese speaker Purcell is a former vice-president and managing director of HP-EDS (Hewlett Packard – Electronic Data Systems (EDS - news) ) who led the integration of the HP-EDS services group across Greater China (GCHC.PK - news) , Korea and South East Asia.

Purcell will be charged with spearheading Xchanging’s growth in Asian markets, leading the company’s businesses in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, China and Japan.
He will be a member of the Xchanging Management Board and based in Sydney, Australia.
