Autonomy announces two contracts

LONDON (ShareCast) - FTSE 100 company Autonomy has announced two multi-million dollar contracts, one with a global bank and the other with a major US national law enforcement agency.

The data search software giant said the law enforcement
agency will use Autonomy's Intelligent Data Operating Layer (IDOL) for investigative purposes. The value and duration of the contract was not divulged.

The second contract, with an unnamed major global bank, is expected to be worth in excess of $15m over the next few years.

The bank has signed up to use Autonomy's compliance solutions.
