Intec bags Eastern European deal

LONDON (ShareCast) - Telecoms billing software firm Intec Telecom Systems (LSE: ITL.L - news) has secured a significant contract extension
with a leading Eastern European telecommunications service provider.

In what it described as “an eight figure (euro) value contract extension”, Intec said its convergent billing solution will be deployed at the unnamed telecoms firm.

“This is a very significant contract for Intec,” said Andrew Taylor, chief executive officer of Intec, adding that the deal underpinned the company’s expected financial performance for the year.
