LONDON (ShareCast) - Shares in Yell have fallen 10% after the Yellow Pages publisher said it has started talks with its banks over a comprehensive refinancing, adding that trading in the second quarter of this year took another lurch downwards.
Carpetright
(LSE: CPR.L - news) is down after it slashed its final dividend as profits tumbled by more than 70% last year, with the carpet retailer warning its sees no upturn for at least 12 months.
Bus and train operator Arriva falls back after it said results for the six months will reflect the lower revenue growth rates in CrossCountry but are otherwise expected to be broadly in line with expectations.
But peer National Express (LSE: NEX.L - news) provides some cheer, moving ahead again after yesterday rejecting an unsolicited bid approach from fellow bus and rail group FirstGroup (LSE: FGP.L - news) .
