LONDON (ShareCast) - Drug developer Alizyme (LSE: AZM.L - news) lost more than half of its value after it said it is likely to cut a 'significant' number of jobs and may even face going bust if it fails to secure sufficient funding.

The group said it does not now expect to have sufficient funding to last beyond the end of August and will be unable to continue as a going concern without the raising of additional funds. "In the absence of additional funds, the company may face going into administration or liquidation," it said.

The group is also considering the suitability of its current main market listing given its market capitalisation and limited resources.

SDL International, the global information management solutions provider, has completed the acquisition of XyEnterprise, a content management product developer based in the USA.

SDL (LSE: SDL.L - news) has paid $14.7m (£8.9m) to private equity group JNNV for XyEnterprise. The funds will be drawn from SDL's existing resources.

XyEnterprise had a turnover of $9.9m last year and has offices in the USA, UK, Brazil and Australia. Its content management and publishing solutions are used by more than 200 enterprises.
