LONDON (ShareCast) - A quiet end to the week is in store on the corporate news front, though by coincidence two car dealers, Lookers (LSE: LOOK.L - news)
and Pendragon (LSE: PDG.L - news) both have annual general meetings, at which updates may be forthcoming on how the government's car scrappage scheme is affecting sales.
Both companies have had to revise their finance facilities this year against the background of a sharply deteriorating car market. Lookers signed new banking facilities with lenders for £210m of loans maturing in 2012, while Pendragon also extended its bank facilities and loan notes to April 2012.
